India’s Most Tested ACP - 205 Tests. Infinite Trust.
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

The 205 tests are a comprehensive set of in-house evaluations designed to assess an ACP’s performance, durability, safety, and consistency. Together, they examine how the material behaves under environmental exposure, mechanical stress, ageing, and fire-related conditions—helping verify real-world performance beyond surface-level specifications.
The QUV Accelerated Weathering Tester is used to simulate long-term exposure of Aluminium Composite Panels (ACPs) to sunlight, moisture, and environmental conditions through controlled cycles of ultraviolet (UV) radiation and condensation. A 4,000-hour accelerated weathering test is conducted to evaluate the UV stability, colour retention, gloss retention, and overall weather resistance of paint coatings applied on ACPs.
This testing helps predict long-term outdoor performance of ACPs and ensures that the panels retain durability, aesthetic appeal, and protective performance under prolonged environmental exposure.
The Salt Spray Test checks the ACP’s resistance to corrosion by exposing it to a saline mist environment. This test is especially relevant for projects in coastal areas or regions with high salinity, where metal corrosion can affect durability and structural integrity.
The Humidity Resistance Test evaluates how an ACP behaves when exposed to prolonged high-humidity conditions. It helps assess the stability of bonding, coating performance, and resistance to moisture-related deterioration.
While Aludecor performs these tests as part of its internal quality framework, ‘the free testing initiative’ also allows samples from other brands to be tested under defined parameters, by strictly adhering to the NABL norms.
All the 205 tests are conducted in Aludecor’s in-house laboratories, supported by specialised infrastructure—including India’s first NABL-accredited reaction-to-fire testing lab for ACP.
No. Testing and certifications complement each other. While certifications confirm compliance with recognised standards, in-depth testing helps understand actual material behaviour across multiple conditions.
Because in the ACP category, performance issues often surface long after installation. Testing helps validate material behaviour before it becomes a real-world problem, making confidence informed rather than assumed.
Bonding and peel-strength tests check how securely the layers of the ACP are held together, helping identify the risk of separation before the material is used.
These tests assess paint quality, coating thickness, and durability to understand how well an ACP retains its colour and finish over time when exposed to real environmental conditions.
An FR ACP must be tested for mineral content, core behaviour, and fire performance not just labelled FR. Certified testing helps verify whether the claim holds up under fire conditions.
Architects, façade consultants, fabricators, builders, and homeowners can all participate in the testing initiative.
You receive a detailed test report with measured values and observations, helping you make an informed decision.
All tests are conducted at Aludecor’s in-house laboratories, including a NABL-accredited fire testing lab.
